Between 1997 and 2006, Chris was a staff Director/Producer at Discovery Networks Europe. During this period, he directed numerous film projects including Discovery People, an award-winning 25ep series of mini documentaries featuring famous peoples' moments of discovery. Contributors included: Sir David Frost, Peter Ustinov and Martin Bell.
Other mini documentary series followed including Great British Planes, where celebrities advocated their favourite aircraft. In addition, he made films on the SETI Programme, the science of criminal profiling, human cloning and artificial intelligence, as well as a diverse range of promo campaigns and channel branding pieces. He also headed up the specialist aviation channel Discovery Wings and oversaw the creative on a broad range of marketing initiatives, three of which won Gold Promax awards.
